Quantity Surveyor East Midlands
Attractive Salary with car Allowance and Bonus
Our client is working with a leading UK house builder, Miller Homes, to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Commercial team in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established developer known for delivering high-quality residential schemes, offering strong career progression and a supportive working environment.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the commercial delivery of multiple residential developments ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within budget. You will take ownership of cost control, subcontractor management, and financial reporting, working closely with site and technical teams to drive performance across your developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
- Carry out monthly valuations and cost reporting
- Attend regular site meetings to monitor progress and contractor performance
- Prepare and manage site budgets and cost forecasts
- Provide commercial support to site teams and resolve subcontractor queries
About You
- Proven experience within house building or the wider construction sector
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
- Proactive, organised, and confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
