URGENT REQUIREMENT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

We need an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can walk into a live specialist-project environment and become commercially effective quickly.

This is not an assignment for someone requiring significant supervision or looking to make their first move into specialist subcontracting.

We need someone who understands the full commercial lifecycle and can quickly establish:

  • What was sold?
  • What has been bought?
  • What has changed?
  • What has been delivered?
  • What needs to be valued?
  • And what still needs to be commercially recovered?

Experience within bespoke joinery, luxury interiors, high-end fit-out, specialist subcontracting, or another design-led construction package would be particularly valuable.

The Assignment

Broadreach Recruitment is supporting an internationally focused luxury interiors business with an immediate requirement for an experienced Interim Quantity Surveyor.

You'll join an established team and provide additional commercial capability across live projects involving highly bespoke, manufactured interior packages.

The initial requirement is expected to be approximately three months, with the potential to extend.

This assignment is about taking ownership and adding value quickly.

What You'll Be Taking On

Depending upon the stage of individual projects, you'll support commercial activity from pre-contract through delivery and final account.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The business delivers individually designed luxury interiors incorporating bespoke joinery, furniture, and specialist materials.

Projects evolve.

Drawings change. Clients alter details. Materials develop. Site programmes move. Manufacturing has deadlines and installation teams need answers.

We therefore need a QS who understands that commercial management needs to happen as the project changes – not three months later when somebody starts looking for evidence.
