Solar Style Distributions Ltd is a fast-growing renewable energy contractor delivering utility-scale solar farm projects across the UK. We operate across large-scale Solar PV infrastructure projects, providing full turnkey solutions from design through to installation and commissioning.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale solar infrastructure projects.

Working within a fast-paced, contractor-led environment, you will take ownership of the commercial management of multiple projects, collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership to maximise value and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Administer and manage contracts, ensuring full compliance and value delivery.
  • Financial Control: Lead cost forecasting, budget tracking, and commercial reporting to support project delivery and monitor project expenditure and produce accurate financial reports.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with delivery teams to manage contractor relationships and ensure commercial alignment. Support operational delivery by providing clear financial insight and guidance. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Pre-Construction & Tender Support: Assist with tender preparation, cost estimation, and pricing submissions. Review tender documentation and identify commercial risks and opportunities and contribute to procurement strategies and supply chain selection.
  • Mentorship & Teamwork: Share your knowledge with junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture. And continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and commercial outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
