Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing / Planned & Voids
Location: Dunstable
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Package
Sector: Social Housing / Planned Maintenance / Voids
We are working with an established social housing refurbishment contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Planned & Voids division, based from their Dunstable office.
The role will involve providing full commercial management across a portfolio of planned maintenance, refurbishment and void property contracts, working closely with the operational teams to ensure projects are commercially controlled and delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial management of planned maintenance and void contracts
- Preparing valuations and applications for payment
- Subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments
- Producing cost reports, forecasts and cost-to-complete information
- Managing variations and ensuring additional works are accurately recovered
- Monitoring project expenditure, margins and commercial performance
- Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and operational teams
- Managing client and subcontractor final accounts
- Supporting monthly commercial reporting and commercial reviews

About You
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or a strong Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up. Previous experience within social housing, planned maintenance, voids, refurbishment or repairs & maintenance would be highly advantageous. You should be commercially minded, confident managing subcontractor packages and comfortable taking ownership of the financial performance of your contracts.
