Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000-£45,000
Sector: Water Industry
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit and track applications for payment
- Monitor certificates, invoices and payment schedules
- Raise Early Warning Notices (EWNs) and manage change, requests and variations
- Produce and present monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
- Support estimates and cost forecasts
- Track project costs, purchase orders and commercial performance
- Review contracts and ensure obligations are met
- Prepare subcontract documentation and support subcontract management
- Build strong relationships with client commercial teams
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities

Requirements

- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the water industry
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Good understanding of NEC3/4 contracts
- Strong grasp of commercial processes and project cost management
- Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships
- Experience with change management, cost plans or commercial negotiations is an advantage
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
