Quantity Surveyor - Facilities Management

Location: Omagh Office

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: depending on experience


Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Facilities Management team, based in their Omagh office. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the management of term service contracts and a range of planned and reactive maintenance works.


The Role

Working closely with our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of term service contracts, ensuring works are accurately measured, costed, and valued.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out site measurements and assessing completed works
  • Preparing and reviewing costings
  • Reviewing, assessing, and valuing contractor claims
  • Managing and pricing variations
  • Supporting the commercial management of planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Monitoring costs and ensuring accurate commercial reporting
  • Working with internal teams, clients, and contractors to resolve commercial queries
  • Ensuring works are measured and valued accurately in line with contract requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial role
  • Strong knowledge of measurement, cost assessment, and claims evaluation
  • Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a wider team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience within maintenance or term service contracts is desirable

Familiarity with PSA Schedule of Rates, or similar pricing mechanisms, would be advantageous
