Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Quantity Surveyor role in Aberdeen.
Our client, a reputable main contractor with a strong presence in commercial and public sector construction, is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and play a key part in the financial management of construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage costs across multiple projects from tender to final account
- Prepare bills of quantities, subcontract packages, and valuation reports
- Ensure all commercial aspects of the contract are maintained effectively
- Identify and manage potential commercial risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and external consultants

What You Bring:
- Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within the main contracting environment
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and sound commercial judgement
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience
- A proactive, confident approach with excellent communication skills
