Company Description

Green Leaf Engineering (GLE) is a renewable energy contractor focused on the decarbonisation of commercial properties across the UK. The company supports clients through the full life cycle of their carbon reduction journey, from feasibility studies and design to project management, delivery, and commissioning. GLE provides a turnkey offering in renewable technologies, including Solar PV, Solar canopies, battery storage, air and ground source heat pumps, and EV solutions. Its management team combines traditional MEP project managers with specialist design engineers, all with extensive experience. This integrated approach maximises carbon reduction for clients while maintaining high standards of quality.

The role includes analysing contractor and supplier quotations, supporting procurement activities, and ensuring cost control throughout project delivery and commissioning. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project managers, design engineers, and site teams to manage variations, assess financial risks, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The position also involves contributing to process improvements and supporting accurate financial forecasting for multiple projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
