Job Description
Bell Building Projects (BBP) is a growing construction company delivering refurbishment, facade replacement, fire remediation, and new-build projects across the UK.

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, based in Manchester. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for a number of projects across the region.
Duties include:
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
- Carry out valuations, prepare interim applications for payment, and produce final accounts.
- Assess, value, and negotiate variations and change orders.
- Provide accurate and timely cost reporting to support commercial decision-making.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor accounts and payments.
- Support project teams with contractual and financial advice.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities and maintain accurate project records.
- Contribute to business improvement by supporting best practices in cost management.

Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Proficient in cost management software and MS Office.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities with a collaborative, professional approach.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and commercial awareness.
