Job Description

1st Select are working in partnership with a Local Authority Based in the East Midlands. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor on an 6 month contract to service a high-volume contract in the residential sector. The main role of the Quantity Surveyor will be to provide support and guidance to clients on all aspects in relation to costs on quoted maintenance works. Reviewing quotations to ensure value for money and qualitative solutions. Prepare reports to demonstrate savings, efficiencies, quality of workmanship, adherence to specifications and value for money.

Experience Required:

  • Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent
  • IT literate, intermediate level in use of Excel – to include pivot tables and data manipulation
  • Experience in the residential sector is not required.
