We are working with a growing cost consultancy specialising in the renewable energy sector, supporting clients through the development and delivery of some of the UK’s most exciting energy infrastructure projects.
Due to continued success and the expansion of their Northern region, our client is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the team and play a key role in providing high-quality commercial and cost management advice across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining exposure to projects across the rapidly evolving energy transition sector.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial and cost management support from project inception through to completion. You will work closely with clients, developers, contractors and project teams to ensure projects are commercially robust and delivered effectively.

About You
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial mindset and an interest in working within the renewable energy sector, although experience in this field is not essential.
You Will Have
- A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
- Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or contractor environment.
- Experience across major construction, infrastructure, energy or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of cost management, procurement and commercial principles.
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, collaborative and commercially minded approach.
RICS membership or progress towards chartership is desirable, although applications from strong Quantity Surveyors with relevant sector experience will also be considered.
