Quantity Surveyor Required in Dartford
Joining a growing commercial team with a strong pipeline of secured construction projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects across the Southern Region, with clear opportunities for progression into Senior QS and Commercial Management positions.
Job Description
Commercial management of construction projects ranging from approximately £1m–£15m across the Southern Region.
- Manage CVRs, valuations, variations, forecasting, and financial reporting from procurement through to final account.
- Lead client and subcontractor relationships, including commercial meetings, negotiations, and contract administration.
- Manage procurement and commercial packages, identifying cost-saving opportunities, risks, and potential commercial improvements.
- Support multiple projects across Dartford and the wider Southern Region, typically managing between two and four schemes depending on project size and complexity.

Skills / Qualifications
- Quantity Surveyor experience within a main contractor or subcontractor environment, with experience across projects of £1m–£15m.
- Strong commercial management experience, including CVRs, cost reporting, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Contractual knowledge with experience working under JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.
- Procurement and subcontract management experience, particularly for candidates from a subcontractor background.
- Broader construction experience across refurbishment, construction, planned works, or specialist projects; candidates based in or able to commute to Dartford are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
This Quantity Surveyor opportunity in Dartford offers £55,000–£80,000 + package, depending on experience, alongside a strong secured workload through 2028/2029 and genuine progression towards Senior QS and Commercial Management positions.
