Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Following continued business growth and recent tender success, we are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with the appointment of an experienced and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor.

Based in our Daventry or Boroughbridge office, you will support a growing portfolio of projects across the South and Midlands, helping to ensure they are commercially well managed and successfully delivered.

This is an excellent opportunity to take commercial responsibility for a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects within the landscaping, environmental and highways sectors. Working closely with our operational teams, you will help ensure contracts are commercially well managed from delivery through to final account.

Duties

• Managing the commercial performance of a portfolio of projects across the South and Midlands
• Providing cost management and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle
• Preparing and submitting valuations in conjunction with operational managers and in accordance with contractual requirements
• Monitoring contract performance, costs, forecasts and commercial risk
• Administering NEC contracts, including change control, early warnings and compensation events
• Ensuring applications and payments are progressed in accordance with contract terms to support strong cash flow
• Identifying and resolving commercial and contractual issues in a timely manner
• Working closely with project and operational teams to maximise commercial performance
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Supporting the continued development and improvement of ATM’s commercial processes and procedures
• Assisting with final accounts and ensuring contracts are commercially closed out effectively
