Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience across Planned Maintenance, Social Housing, Property Services or Refurbishment?
I'm working with a long-established contractor that has continued to grow significantly and has recently secured a number of new contracts.
They're now looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team, working closely with an experienced Senior QS and taking genuine ownership of their own workload.
What will you be working on?
You'll be involved in a range of planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes across Social Housing, including:
- Roofing
- Windows & Doors
- Kitchens & Bathrooms
- Retrofit
- Voids
- General Planned Maintenance
You'll have genuine commercial responsibility for your contracts, working closely with the operational team from valuation through to final account.
What are they looking for?
The key requirement is commercial experience within Planned Maintenance, Social Housing, Property Services or Refurbishment.

You'll ideally have:
- Previous QS experience within Social Housing, Property Services or Planned Maintenance
- Strong knowledge of, or experience working with, NHF Schedule of Rates
- Experience managing commercial processes from valuation through to final account
- Good understanding of cost and value management
- A practical understanding of planned maintenance works, with the ability to measure and understand works as well as manage the commercial process
- Experience across areas such as roofing, scaffolding, windows & doors, kitchens & bathrooms or refurbishment
- A personable, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team
