Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Quantity Surveyor role located in Newquay. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tracking project costs, and supporting cost planning from pre-contract through final account. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role also involves supporting tender preparation, advising on cost risks, and contributing to efficient procurement and payment processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong cost control and cost management skills.
- Candidates should possess experience in BOQ preparation and measurement.
- Candidates should possess expertise in cost planning and cost reporting.
- Candidates should possess solid numerical, analytical, and Excel skills.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional membership or progression toward RICS or equivalent accreditation is advantageous.
