About Our Client

Our client is a growing and well-established organisation within the construction and infrastructure sector, delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of multiple projects, working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance and value delivery
  • Lead cost forecasting, budget tracking, and commercial reporting
  • Monitor project expenditure and provide financial insight to delivery teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Support tender preparation, cost planning, and procurement activities
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities across projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and support junior team members where required

About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects
  • Experience working with main contractors on large-scale projects
  • Strong background in cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Criteria

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of tendering, procurement, and pre-construction processes
  • RICS membership or working towards chartered status
  • Experience within infrastructure, utilities, or major construction projects
