Quantity Surveyor – Bishop Auckland

Spear-Heads are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist subcontractor based in Bishop Auckland for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Must be able to travel overnight as and when needed

Hybrid, 1 day office, 2 to 3 days onsite and 1 day remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Manage subcontractor payments, enquiries and orders
  • Produce material take-offs from drawings
  • Monitor project costs, cash flow and commercial performance
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts
  • Work closely with estimating, design, purchasing and contracts teams
  • Support cost control and recovery of additional costs
