Quantity Surveyor - Leading Main Contractor

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a market-leading London fit out & refurbishment contractor, renowned for delivering high-profile refurbishments and fit outs to commercial offices and grade 2 listed buildings.
In this pivotal role, you’ll support a commercial lead on a £40m cut and carve refurbishment of an office space in the heart of London, or alternatively a £20m refurbishment to a grade 2 listed building in Central London, ensuring the successful commercial delivery of the project.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the commercial lead on projects across London up to £40m+ in value
- Work well with the wider team of Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and site staff, driving best practice
- Procurement, contract administration, and subcontractor negotiations
- CVRs, cash flow, forecasting, and reporting to the Commercial Lead/ Manager
- Robust cost control and risk management strategies
- Change management and oversee final accounts
- Work closely with project delivery and client teams to ensure successful outcomes
What We’re Looking For

- Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor working in the fit out/refurbishment or new build main contracting space
- Experience delivering commercial office or life sciences projects (CAT A & B, cut and carve, refurbishments)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor more junior commercial staff
- Excellent contract knowledge (JCT preferred) and financial acumen
- Ability to influence within a high-performing environment
