Salary: Up to £57k + car allowance, bonus and benefits
Employer: PLC housebuilder
An established PLC housebuilder is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. This opportunity would also suit an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step up into a QS role.
Working on new build residential developments, you will take responsibility for the commercial performance of your projects, supported by an experienced Commercial Manager and wider team.

- Manage project costs, forecasts and commercial reporting.
- Procure subcontractors and manage packages from tender through to final account.
- Assess valuations, variations and subcontractor payments.
- Work closely with construction, technical and buying teams to support project delivery.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the build programme.
About you
You will have quantity surveying experience within housebuilding and a good understanding of the commercial process on new build residential projects. You may already be working as a Quantity Surveyor, or you may be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take on more responsibility.
