Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
Location: Kent
Salary: Up to £75,000 + car allowance, private healthcare & bonus
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing civil engineering and infrastructure business delivering a range of exciting projects across Kent and the surrounding region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor looking to take responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with operational teams, clients, and supply chain partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, valuations, and final accounts.
- Lead procurement and subcontractor management.
- Monitor project costs, variations, change control, and commercial performance.
- Prepare and submit applications for payment and assess subcontractor applications.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement appropriate mitigation.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual, commercial, and company requirements.

About You
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, or a related construction environment.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Experience managing subcontractors, variations, and final accounts.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A commercially driven and proactive approach.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline are desirable.
