Role: Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager
An award-winning, boutique consultancy is continuing to expand from its Central London office and is looking to bring an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager into the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with consultancy experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility, build client relationships and work closely with experienced Senior QSs and Associate Directors. The business has a genuine focus on developing its people and providing a clear route for progression.
Responsibilities
The workload is very varied including residential, (Co-Living, PBSA, Build-to-Rent), I&L, education and commercial projects with schemes ranging in value between £20m and £100m+.

The role offers involvement across the full project lifecycle, including:
- Early-stage cost planning
- RIBA Stages 1–4
- Procurement and tendering
- JCT Design & Build
- Valuations and payment notices
- Variations and change control
- Monthly cost reporting and cash-flow forecasting
Progression
There is a clear progression route towards Senior QS, with the opportunity to gradually take greater ownership of projects and client relationships while working alongside experienced Senior QSs and Associate Directors.

Requirements
They are ideally looking for someone who is MRICS chartered or working towards, with experience from either a consultancy or main-contractor QSs who are looking to make the move into consultancy. You must have JCT knowledge, and residential new build experience is highly desirable.

On offer is a generous salary (experience dependant) with a bonus scheme available and annual ski trip in addition to the base salary.
