Potensis is excited to partner with a leading mixed-use developer who are looking to appoint a Quantum Claims Manager to work on a number of high-value remediation projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of claim briefing notes and reports, in conjunction with in-house and external legal consultants.
- Work with internal commercial and technical teams to prepare and collate quantum claims.
- Provide input into the negotiation process to ensure that disputes are resolved effectively.
- Providing high-level commercial and contractual advice to the business.
- Manage the process of identifying the quantification of damages arising from delays or breaches of contract.
- Help to manage the preparation and issue of notices and correspondence to potential recovery targets.
- Conduct thorough analysis to establish facts relevant to all stages of the construction process on a range of high-value projects.

Key Requirements
- Quantum claim experience.
- Able to contribute towards the resolution of disputes and problems and negotiate towards a favourable outcome for the business.
- Commercially astute and able to build recovery arguments leading to the effective resolution of complex projects.
- Experience in the preparation of claims.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the key aims of the business.

This position offers the ability to work remotely, with a requirement to visit the London office up to twice a fortnight.
