About AQT

At AQT we build quantum computers and provide exclusive, exemplary quantum instruments. Founded in Innsbruck, Austria, in 2018, we aim to bring quantum technologies out of the laboratory environment and turn them into everyday products. Our goal is a quantum computer based on trapped ions, that is installed in normal IT infrastructure and can be readily operated from any PC or laptop. We provide quantum technology for research laboratories and supercomputing centers. To our industrial customers, we offer quantum solutions through partnerships with leading quantum software firms. In the past eight years, we have managed to build up an amazing team with extraordinary ambition and talent. You will work together with a world-class team of quantum physicists, engineers, and computer experts to shape the future of quantum computing. For our extended sales effort, we are now looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join us in the role of Quantum Sales.

Your role

Quantum Sales is a new role to AQT and reflects the need to support the commercial team in times of on-going market penetration seen by our modular and full quantum computing hardware products. Reporting to the sales director, the role is focused on the AQT modular "quantum instruments" product lines and entails identifying and engaging with customers from within the trapped ion and cold atom communities and responding to customer enquiries; essentially to be a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact for many customers and collaborators looking to use AQT products within their experiments. Further responsibilities will be to ensure that the needs and desires of the atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics community (as well as any changes to the evolving market forces) are recorded and communicated to the relevant parties within AQT. As this is a customer facing role, travel to and attendance at various conferences, exhibitions and customer sites may be involved.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
