Our client, part of a globally recognised engineering organisation specialising in pumps, valves and flow control solutions for a diverse range of industrial applications, is seeking a Quotation Engineer. With a reputation for innovation, technical excellence and customer service, they continue to invest in both its people and technology to support future growth and success.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Quotation Engineer to join their established team in Loughborough. - Evaluating customer enquiries and preparing accurate technical and commercial quotations for valve products and associated services.
- Working closely with customers, external sales teams and internal departments to ensure enquiries are processed efficiently while delivering the highest standards of service and technical support.
- Reviewing customer specifications, selecting suitable products, preparing quotations, managing follow-up activities and supporting the conversion of enquiries into orders.
- Liaising with engineering, production and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and delivered successfully.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment, you will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and contributing to the ongoing success of the business while developing your own technical and commercial expertise.
The Candidate
- Previous experience within a Quotation, Technical Sales, Internal Sales, Tendering or Customer Sales support role within engineering.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of valves, flow control products, pumps or industrial engineering equipment would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines effectively.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP would be beneficial.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
