Position Summary

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) Scholarship is a cohort-based program designed to support qualifying agricultural or seasonal farmworkers (or their dependents) in attending CSU. In addition to financial support, the program offers academic, personal, and professional guidance throughout students’ first-year experience and beyond.

CAMP Tutors build positive working relationships with students and provide appropriate support to aid in their success. Tutors who have demonstrated mastery in core subjects will work with staff and faculty members to develop and deliver enhanced one-to-one and small group instructional tutoring aimed at increasing academic achievement and Grade Point Average scores of CAMP students. Tutors also aid with basic administrative tasks as front desk staff.

Our team offers culturally responsive, motivating assistance to students, and we expect the same of our new hires. Additional hours available based on student need and available funding. This is an hourly position funded by the CAMP grant.

In order to be considered, candidates need to complete supplemental questions at this link: 2026-2027 CAMP Student Staff Application

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
