A football student equipment manager assists the CSU Football Program by preparing, maintaining, and organizing practice and game-day gear, including helmets, pads, and uniforms.

Required Job Qualifications
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed for position
- Maintain full-time student status (enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester)
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA

- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. to move equipment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office or inventory software
- Experience with time management and meeting deadlines set by supervisor
Essential Duties
- Practice and Game Operations: Setting up and breaking down equipment for practices and games, including helmets, shoulder pads, and practice gear.
- Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Cleaning, repairing, and inspecting gear to ensure it fits properly and is in good working order.
- Logistics and Travel: Transporting equipment to and from the field, as well as packing for away games.
- Laundry Services: Handling the daily cleaning of player and staff apparel.
- Inventory Control: Tracking the issuance and return of gear, and assisting with inventory management systems.
- On-Field Assistance: Assisting coaches with drills, such as holding bags or throwing footballs, without providing instruction
