THIS IS A WORK-STUDY POSITION

Position Summary

We are hiring 2-3 students this year to do administrative assistant tasks to help support our Research Administrative team. We need detail-oriented students who can do repetitive tasks accurately. Our unit submits about 2,600 proposals each year.

This position may work between 10-15 hours a week between M-F, 7 am - 5 pm. These positions will be working in our office at 601 S. Howes St. Some of your hours need to be between 12 pm-2 pm on some of the days you will work.

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to send professional e-mails to faculty members regarding project deadlines.
  • Proficiency in managing and filing responses to e-mails efficiently.
  • Ability to run reports and complete administrative tasks based on the data provided in the reports.

Essential Duties

  • Creating electronic files and folders in our filing system.
  • Send e-mails to Faculty members about the upcoming ending date of their project.
  • Filing responses to e-mails.
  • Running reports and completing administrative tasks based on that report.
  • Assist with the check deposit.
