Position Summary

The Colorado State University 4-H Youth Development Program is seeking a creative and detail-oriented student employee to support the design, formatting, and accessibility of 4-H curriculum, educational resources, and communications materials. This role collaborates with CSU staff, student workers, and 4-H professionals to enhance the quality and accessibility of youth development resources while gaining valuable experience in graphic design, digital accessibility, and professional communication.

Flexible scheduling is available for students working 10–15 hours per week on the CSU campus.

10-15 hours per week.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with Adobe, Google Docs and Sheets, and design tools such as Canva and/or Venngage.
  • Strong organization skills and is detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take direction, and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Technical skills with graphic design software (like Canva, Venngage, or Publisher), social media platforms, WordPress, etc.
  • Experience or knowledge of the 4-H Youth Development program.

Essential Duties

  • Provide graphic design for 4-H project curriculum, resources, and various communication media.
  • Updating the design of both existing and updated curriculum with a special focus on making the materials accessible to screen readers.
  • Work in collaboration with other CSU student workers and 4-H professionals in the office to make 4-H materials accessible.
  • Complete professional development training as needed.
