Position Summary

The Colorado State University Hydraulics Laboratory (www.hydraulicslab.engr.colostate.edu) seeks to hire Laboratory Assistants. This position would provide support for multiple research projects. Research conducted in the Hydraulics Laboratory includes hydraulic model studies, hydraulic performance testing and research in the fields of open channel and closed conduit hydraulics.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Undergrad student enrolled at Colorado State University
  • Up to 40 hours per week during summer
  • 10- 20 hours per week

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Civil and Environmental Engineering/Construction Management Student
  • Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Student
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with a wide range of hand and power tools
  • Experience with use of heavy equipment
