Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining the Off-Campus Life brand through the design of all marketing materials including, but not limited to, newspaper ads, posters, web ads, and t-shirts, as well as the physical construction of display cases and event decorations. This position also works to curate content on relevant marketing channels (LSC screens, social media, etc.)

Required Job Qualifications
- Be accepted for enrollment as a regular degree-seeking student at CSU and in good academic and disciplinary standing according to CSU standards
- Must commit to the position for one academic year and be able to attend bi-weekly staff meetings, slated for Wednesday from 4-5pm during the '26-'27 Academic year.
- Working knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with proper printing practices, i.e. bleeds, proofs, RGB vs. CMYK, resolution (DPI/PPI).
- Knowledge of different document extensions and their practical use (.jpeg,.tiff,.pdf, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability in:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Working effectively both individually and on a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Working in a busy environment that requires you to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills with close attention to details
- Handling constructive criticism

Preferred Job Qualifications
- Working towards a degree, or have a strong interest in, Art with a concentration in Graphic Design
- Experience with website design and updates (including HTML/CSS)
- Digital photography experience (familiarity with Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Experience presenting in front of groups of varying sizes
- Experience in writing and editing copy
- A cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Understanding of basic use of Microsoft 365 suite of programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of Off-Campus Life programs and events
- Have a Driver’s License and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
Essential Duties
- All graphic designs needed for Off-Campus Life programming, including Housing Fair, Fall Clean Up, RamRide, etc.
- Design of: Print ads, Quarter sheets, T-shirts, Web ads, white boards, display cases, other designs as needed.
- Maintain knowledge and skill on Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Updating file types and sizes
- General front desk/reception duties; including but not limited to answering phones, keeping stats, greeting/assisting customers, office upkeeping/cleaning, etc.
- Develop and implement annual Off-Campus Life Marketing Calendar in conjunction with supervisor(s) and the Student Coordinator team
- Provide exceptional customer service and accurate information to students regarding office services and programs, renting in the Fort Collins community, city codes and ordinances, building neighborhood relations, and more.
- This customer service is expected to be provided in-person, over the telephone, and via email or virtual communication.
- Working knowledge and application of Party Registration program, RentalSearch, etc.
- Actively participate (facilitate, administer, and contribute according to program lead instructions) in various office programs (Roommate Meet & Matches, RamRide Food Ops, etc.) and presentations (Orientations, resource fairs, etc.).
