Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in either our Glasgow or Perth office

Salary: £51,600 - £77,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

As Audit and Statutory Accounts Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role within our Record to Report (R2R) Centre of Excellence, helping to deliver accurate statutory accounts and a high-quality audit experience across our business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys bringing people together, building trusted relationships and creating clarity in complex environments. Working closely with Financial Controllers, Process Leads, auditors and finance colleagues, you'll provide leadership, guidance and support to ensure statutory reporting obligations are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability.

The will

  • Lead the preparation and review of statutory accounts, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely delivery across multiple entities.
  • Coordinate audit activity, acting as a trusted partner to auditors and internal stakeholders to support the smooth resolution of queries and requests.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Process Leads, Financial Controllers and finance teams, creating clarity around audit priorities and deliverables.
  • Manage statutory accounts and audit timetables, proactively identifying risks, supporting safe delivery and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Coach, support and develop team members, creating an inclusive environment where people can grow, share knowledge and perform at their best.

You have

  • A professional accounting qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) with strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, alongside a sound understanding of audit processes, requirements and controls.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, manage competing deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage positively with auditors, finance teams and senior leaders, building trusted and productive relationships.
  • A collaborative and thoughtful approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement, safe ways of working and delivering excellent outcomes for customers and colleagues.
