R2R Lead
Marc Daniels are working with a well‑renowned organisation to look for an experienced R2R Lead to take ownership of a large, high‑performing team and drive balance sheet integrity across a complex, multi‑entity environment. This is a high‑visibility role where you’ll shape controls, elevate reporting quality, and influence senior leadership.
You’ll lead a sizeable R2R function, ensuring the business delivers a fast, accurate and well‑controlled month‑end close. You’ll be the guardian of the balance sheet, driving reconciliation discipline, surfacing risks early, and embedding best‑practice governance. With a strong transformation agenda, you’ll also play a key role in standardising processes, improving systems, and strengthening financial control across the group.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a large R2R team within a fast‑paced, global environment.
- Own balance sheet governance: reconciliations, ageing reviews, risk identification and remediation.
- Drive a timely and accurate month‑end close, ensuring robust journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany activity.
- Maintain general ledger integrity across multiple entities.
- Partner closely with FP&A, Commercial Finance and Operations to align reporting with business performance.
- Lead on audit readiness, statutory compliance and internal control frameworks.
- Champion process improvement, automation and standardisation across the R2R landscape.
- Support finance transformation, system upgrades and scalability initiatives.

About You
- Proven experience leading a large R2R or Financial Accounting team in a complex, multi‑entity organisation.
- Strong technical accounting background with deep experience managing the balance sheet end‑to‑end.
- Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
- Highly organised, resilient and comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
