About the Role
Joining a new business backed by significant investment as we scale, and looking for a qualified R2R Manager. You'll lead financial accounting and period-end close across a complex, multi-entity group, with real scope to influence process design as the function matures.
Key Requirements
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Significant experience in Record to Report, financial accounting, or controllership, ideally within an industry or shared services environment
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience working in a multi-entity or group accounting environment
- Demonstrated ownership of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple legal entities, reviewing complex journals and reconciliations
- Own balance sheet integrity, resolving aged or high-risk items proactively
- Provide technical guidance on complex areas such as revenue recognition, leases, and provisions
- Manage intercompany accounting and consistent application of group policies
- Review statutory reporting packs and lead audit delivery, liaising with external auditors
- Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement within the Finance Operations Centre
- Maintain strong controls and governance, addressing any control deficiencies
- Partner with Group Finance, AP, AR, Treasury, and FP&A teams
