Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following office locations, Glasgow, Perth or Dublin
Salary: £59,800 - £89,800 (UK) or €76,100 - €114,100 (ROI) + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The role
As our R2R (Record to Report) Senior Finance Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape and influence an important part of our Finance Centre of Excellence. Leading a team of talented managers, you'll create an environment where people feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best work while maintaining the highest standards of safety, wellbeing and financial integrity. Working in close partnership with Process Leads, Financial Controllers and Finance teams across the business, you'll bring people together around shared goals, helping to deliver accurate and insightful financial information that supports confident decision-making. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll nurture capability, champion continuous improvement and drive high standards of performance, helping to create efficient, resilient and sustainable ways of working that enable both people and business outcomes to thrive.
You will
- Lead, support and develop a team of Finance Managers, creating a safe, inclusive and high-performing environment where colleagues feel valued, empowered and motivated to deliver their best work.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of General Ledger, month-end, half-year and year-end activities, ensuring the team consistently delivers accurate, high-quality outcomes in line with Group reporting requirements and service expectations.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous learning, supporting individuals and teams to achieve their objectives while driving performance, capability and engagement.
- Build trusted partnerships across Finance and the wider business, working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve challenges, improve outcomes and ensure the effective delivery of financial reporting and control activities.
- Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence, leading initiatives that strengthen controls, enhance efficiency, improve service performance and support a resilient and sustainable finance function.

You have
- A professional accounting qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) alongside significant experience in financial reporting, financial control, audit or a complex finance operations environment.
- A compassionate and inclusive leadership style, with a proven ability to mentor, support and develop managers and finance professionals through periods of growth and change.
- Strong critical thinking skills, enabling you to navigate complexity with confidence, identify risks and opportunities, and provide thoughtful, balanced insight.
- Experience leading meaningful process improvements that enhance quality, strengthen controls, improve efficiency and support long-term organisational resilience.
- The ability to make well-informed decisions, build trust with stakeholders and positively influence outcomes, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, wellbeing and operational excellence.
