Radar Developer
As Doubtless Pet Care continues to grow, we are seeking an Radar Developer to join our Actuarial Finance team.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in London Paddington with a minimum of one day per month in the office.
As our Radar Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our pricing capability by designing, building and maintaining robust pricing solutions within WTW Radar. Working at the heart of the pricing team, you'll transform complex pricing requirements and analytical insights into scalable, efficient and well-governed Radar implementations that directly support business performance and customer outcomes.
You'll take ownership of the end-to-end Radar development lifecycle, from building and refining rating algorithms through to testing, impact analysis, version control and the controlled deployment of pricing changes. Your expertise will help ensure our pricing environment is accurate, compliant and future-ready, enabling the business to deliver pricing updates with confidence.
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner closely with pricing analysts and other stakeholders, providing technical leadership, continuity and best practice guidance across the Radar platform. As a permanent member of the pricing capability team, you'll help drive consistency, strengthen governance standards and empower colleagues to use Radar effectively, ensuring pricing solutions remain transparent, sustainable and fit for the future.

The Role: Radar Developer
- Design, develop and maintain robust pricing solutions within WTW Radar, translating pricing requirements into efficient, scalable and well-governed rating implementations.
- Build and enhance rating algorithms, reusable components and frameworks that improve consistency, quality and delivery efficiency.
- Support the implementation and controlled deployment of pricing changes, ensuring alignment between pricing strategy, business requirements and live rating systems.
- Develop scenario modelling and pricing impact analysis capabilities, enabling clear assessment of customer, portfolio and commercial outcomes.
- Embed strong controls through testing, version management, documentation and governance practices to ensure accurate and reliable pricing solutions.
- Collaborate with pricing, data and technology teams to deliver effective end-to-end pricing solutions and improve platform performance, automation and resilience.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on Radar development, promoting best practice and supporting capability growth across the pricing team.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Radar platform and pricing development roadmap, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What We Look For In You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining pricing solutions within WTW Radar.
- A strong understanding of general insurance pricing, rating structures and algorithm design.
- Analytical and data skills, with experience using tools such as SAS, Python, R, SQL, Excel or VBA.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, version control, documentation and controlled releases.
- The ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Experience supporting pricing changes from design and impact assessment through to testing, deployment and implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented approach, focused on accuracy, governance and continuous improvement.
- Experience within insurance pricing, pricing technology, actuarial systems or rating development environments.
