This is an ideal role for a hands-on engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex manufacturing and test engineering projects. With continued investment in new products and emerging technologies, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact by leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and developing advanced automated RF test solutions. Based in Stevenage, you will work closely with design, manufacturing and production teams to ensure new products are successfully transitioned into manufacturing while driving improvements in production efficiency, quality and test capability.

This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of introducing new products into manufacturing and establishing automated RF production test systems from concept through to implementation. You will design and develop test equipment, jigs and fixtures, write LabVIEW software to automate RF test equipment, commission new production test stations, and produce all manufacturing and test documentation required to support production.
Alongside this, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, train production staff, audit manufacturing processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability and efficiency are maintained.
Key Requirements
HND or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Production Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Strong LabVIEW programming and RF test automation experience. Proven experience within an electronics manufacturing environment. Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing engineering activities. Strong understanding of RF and microwave testing and automated production test systems. Experience designing test equipment, fixtures and manufacturing documentation.
