Role Overview
You'll join the engineering team as an RF Test Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager. Your focus will be wafer-level testing across RF and DC: keeping production test systems running well, bringing new products into production and using test data to keep improving how things are done.
What You'll Own
Test Systems and Methodology
- Looking after RF and DC wafer-level test systems so production results stay accurate and repeatable
- Setting test approaches for S-parameters, noise figure, golden wafer and Gauge R&R
- Developing test hardware, software and algorithms, including LabVIEW applications
- Specifying, sourcing and commissioning probe cards and test equipment

New Products and Data
- Working alongside Product Engineering and Production to build test capability for new products
- Turning test data into wafer maps, SPC, correlation and product performance reports
- Device characterisation, evaluation and diagnostic testing
Production Support
- Diagnosing and resolving production test issues
- Training and supporting Test Technicians and Operators
- Keeping test software, procedures and equipment records up to date
- Finding ways to make test more efficient, reliable and safe
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience in volume semiconductor test engineering
- Hands-on use of RF/microwave test equipment: VNAs, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes and signal generators
- Experience developing or supporting DC and/or RF semiconductor test systems
- Programming experience in LabVIEW, C++, C#,.NET, VB or similar
- Confident with data analysis and statistical techniques, including SPC
- HND or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related subject
- Comfortable working on your own or within a project team, and happy to share knowledge with colleagues
