Volunteer Radio Producer Wanted – Help Build the Future of TRi THIS Music Radio
Are you passionate about radio? Do you dream of one day managing your own station or leading a programming team?
TRi THIS Music Radio is looking for an ambitious Volunteer Radio Producer to help shape the sound of an exciting new digital radio station launching in Staffordshire.

TRi THIS Music is the brand new, exciting media platform that brings you closer than ever before to your favourite artists. In this new age of music, it is essential to strengthen the bond between the artist and their audience. At TRi THIS Music we support both new emerging artists and experienced heritage artists with equal passion.

This is more than just a volunteer role, it's an opportunity to gain real management experience from the ground up and become part of a station with long-term ambitions to grow into a national brand. As TRi THIS Music grows, our goal is to transition key volunteer positions into paid, permanent roles.

What you'll be doing:
- 🎙 Overseeing the day-to-day programming output of the station
- 🎵 Managing music scheduling and ensuring a consistent station sound
- 📋 Coordinating programme logs and broadcast schedules
- 🤝 Supporting and communicating with presenters and production volunteers
- 💡 Developing new show ideas and helping shape the station's identity
- 📈 Working closely with the station manager to grow the audience and evolve the station
We're looking for someone who:
- ✔ Has a genuine passion for radio broadcasting
- ✔ Understands how a radio station operates (or is eager to learn)
- ✔ Has an interest in programming, scheduling or station management
- ✔ Is organised, proactive and enjoys working with creative people
- ✔ Wants to build experience that could lead to a career in radio management
