About the Role

Due to continued growth and development within the Imaging service, we’re expanding our Senior Radiographer team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking department, play a key role in shaping service delivery, and grow your career within a supportive, high-performing team.

How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen

As a Radiographer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding imaging services and ensuring every patient receives safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. Using your advanced technical expertise and clinical judgement, you’ll support accurate diagnosis and treatment across a wide range of imaging modalities.

You’ll work autonomously while also being a key member of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, acting as a clinical role model and supporting the development of colleagues. Your commitment to best practice, patient safety, and service improvement will directly contribute to positive patient experiences and excellent clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely, high-quality radiographic examinations in line with IR(ME)R regulations, local rules, and radiation protection policies
  • Work across all areas of the General Imaging Department, including CT, MRI, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, General X-ray, and DEXA
  • Safely operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, maintaining competencies through departmental rotation
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, carers, referrers, and colleagues, ensuring informed consent and patient reassurance
  • Accurately complete all legal documentation on RIS and PACS, including image transfer and IEP requests
  • Participate fully in the on-call rota and weekend MRI service once competent
  • Lead and manage day-to-day workflow within designated clinical areas, acting as department lead on a rotational basis
  • Actively contribute to quality assurance programmes, audits, incident reporting, and service improvement initiatives
  • Support the induction, training, and development of junior staff and new starters
  • Maintain your own CPD and contribute to protocol development and evidence-based practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
