Job Title: Radiographer - Cath Lab
Department: Cath Lab
Location: Cromwell Hospital, Cromwell Road, London SW5 0TU
Permanent / Contract: Permanent
Salary range: £34,130 to £38,870 per annum (dependent on experience)
Full time/part time: Full Time / 37.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Radiographer with a keen interest and determination to work in Cath Lab.
As a Radiographer at the Cromwell Hospital, our patients will be your top priority. With no shareholders, we reinvest our profits back into our business to give you the extra time and technology you need to make a difference to our patients each and every day.
We pride ourselves in having exceptional high professional standards to ensure the best journey for our patients, therefore full training and support will be provided to the right individual. You’ll be supporting and delivering high-standard diagnostic imaging, and ideally you will have some recent proven experience working in a Cath Lab, and demonstrate a keen interest in a career in this clinical field.
About The Cromwell Hospital
The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and inpatient services. The hospital has 114 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostics, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit.

- Ablations
- Coronary angiograms and angioplasties
- Cardiac Devices insertion/removal
- PFO closure
- TAVI
- EVAR
- Prostate embolization
- Fibroid embolization
- Varicocele embolization
- Lower limb angiogram/angioplasties
- PTC
- Cerebral angiogram and Cerebral aneurysm embolization

- Maintaining a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards.
- Performing all types of IR, cardiac, and neuro procedures as required by referring Physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrating significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet with the expectations of the interventional consultants.
- Ensuring that a high-quality service is provided by monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance, and reporting.
- Accurately analyzing the acquired data, recording results, and producing high-quality images for reporting.
- Participating in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing, and Radiation Protection, maintaining accurate records, and reporting problems to the Radiation Protection Supervisor.
- Being prepared to train and work in both single plane and biplane Angiographic Studies.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Angiography specific radiology qualification/certificate (desirable)
- Relevant post-graduate experience in an Angiography Lab (essential)
- PAC’s Trained (essential)
Qualifications
- BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
- Registration with HCPC (essential)
