Job Title: Radiographer

Department: Advanced Diagnostics Department

Responsible to: Advanced Diagnostics Clinical Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £44,823.00 per annum (pro-rata)

Please note this vacancy includes evenings, weekend working and being available between 8am-8pm Monday to Sunday.

Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Radiographer to join our Advanced Diagnostics Department. Working across General Radiography and MRI, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred imaging services, producing diagnostic images to support accurate clinical decision-making and positive patient outcomes.

Essential

  • BSc (Hons) Radiography / Diploma of The College of Radiographers or equivalent.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Dynamic Radiography experience.
  • Understanding of MRI Safety principles and working independently within an MRI service.
  • Knowledge of IR (ME)R regulations.
  • Understanding of evidence based practice.
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, use initiative and be a decision maker.
  • Articulate and professional manner.
  • Empathetic approach to patients and staff.
  • Innovative thinker.
  • Leadership qualities and excellent team working skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to work and working patterns.

Desirable

  • Experience of clinical audit.
  • Post graduate training or demonstrable competency in MRI.
  • Use of varying Radiographic equipment.
  • IV cannulation competency.
