About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and friendly Radiology team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This role contributes to the smooth running of our A&E x-ray and CT evening services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Radiographers and liaise directly with service users and staff from other Departments.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients on arrival, confirming identification details and appropriate imaging requests.
- Coordinating patient transfer to and from Radiology.
- Liaising with other Departments, wards, and staff.
- Using the radiology information system to accurately document details of patients' examinations.
- Keeping the work areas stocked and tidy.
- Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries promptly and courteously, either taking appropriate action or referring to appropriate Radiology staff.
- Assisting with patient transfers onto the imaging tables.
- Assisting with patients' hygiene / comfort needs as necessary.
- Maintaining dignity and privacy of patients at all times.

Requirements
- Great communication skills

- Good IT skills to perform clerical duties using multiple Trust computer systems
