Entrepreneurial Radiologist – Ultrasound Service Joint Venture Opportunity
Location: London | Chelsea
Work Schedule: Flexible sessions – evenings/weekends available
CP Medical Clinic is looking for an entrepreneurial Consultant Radiologist with a strong interest in ultrasound to work with us in developing and growing a regular private ultrasound service from our established medical clinic in Chelsea.
About the Role
This is not intended to be a conventional sessional radiology position. We are looking for someone who would like the opportunity to help build a service alongside us, initially incubating it within CP Medical Clinic and, if the model proves successful, potentially developing it into a standalone business or joint venture.
The Opportunity
CP Medical Clinic is an established, CQC-registered multidisciplinary private medical clinic in Chelsea, London. Rather than simply bringing in a radiologist to undertake occasional scans, we want to establish a reliable, regular ultrasound service which can develop its own patient and referral base.
The clinic would provide the existing infrastructure, premises, administrative support, and platform from which to launch and test the service.
We are not asking the radiologist to make a financial investment. What we are looking for is a clinician willing to invest some of their time, expertise, energy, and entrepreneurial thinking into developing the service with us.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Initially this could involve regular sessions such as:
- Weekday evenings
- Sundays
- Other agreed regular sessions around existing NHS or private commitments
The exact schedule can be developed around the right person.
Who We Are Looking For
We would particularly like to speak to a radiologist who:
- Is experienced and confident in diagnostic ultrasound
- Wants to develop something beyond traditional hospital or sessional radiology work
- Is commercially and entrepreneurially minded
- Enjoys building services and developing referral relationships
- Is proactive rather than simply waiting for patients to be booked
- Is comfortable becoming a visible clinical face of the service
- Would be willing to participate in educational content, social media, short videos, and other marketing activity
- Understands that establishing a new service takes time and requires consistent availability
- Is interested in sharing in the upside if the service grows substantially
We are therefore looking for someone who wants to say:
“Let’s build this.”
rather than simply:
“How many sessions are available?”
How We Envisage It Working
The service would initially operate from within CP Medical Clinic. This gives us the opportunity to develop the model with relatively low overheads, build patient demand, establish referral pathways, and understand which areas of ultrasound generate the strongest demand.

There is already considerable scope for integration with the clinic's existing GP and specialist services, as well as the potential to develop an external referral network.
If the ultrasound service grows successfully, our intention would be to explore establishing it as a separate business in which the radiologist could participate as a joint-venture/equity partner.
The precise commercial structure would be agreed with the right person as the relationship and service develop.
What This Is Not
This is not an investment opportunity requiring you to contribute capital. It is also not simply an offer of occasional ad-hoc ultrasound sessions.
We are looking for a radiologist who would like to combine their clinical expertise with our existing clinic infrastructure and jointly create something with genuine growth potential.
Interested?
If you are a Consultant Radiologist who has thought about developing your own private ultrasound service — but would prefer to do so alongside an established clinic rather than starting entirely from scratch — we would be very interested in speaking with you.
Please get in touch for an informal and confidential conversation.
