Job Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working within a customer-focused environment. Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
You will be required to undertake a wide variety of administration duties including arranging Radiology and Phlebotomy appointments and reception work. You will also have to work to deadlines whilst maintaining data accuracy working in a pressurised environment.
A portion of this job will be at the new Halifax CDC at Broad Street Plaza and Huddersfield CDC at the university. This will involve some evening and weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and clerical support to the Radiology Department including community sites.
- To be the first contact at Radiology reception desk and on the telephone for all service users.
- Book patients’ appointments for diagnostic purposes in line with the office booking rules and using the electronic diary.
- Be flexible and rotate between tasks and sites.
