Role Description

The Radiology Department Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Chenies Mews Imaging Centre in London. This position supports daily operations within the imaging department, involving patient preparation (including IV cannulation), patient positioning and aftercare. The assistant helps radiographers and clinicians by supporting patient-centred care, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring imaging rooms and equipment are prepared for examinations. Responsibilities also include handling telephone and email inquiries, managing referrals and reports, and assisting with basic administrative tasks to keep workflows efficient. The role requires consistent attention to patient comfort, adherence to safety and confidentiality standards, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams.
