Imaging Manager | Spire Shawfair Park Hospital, Edinburgh | Full time
Competitive Salary
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is recruiting for an Imaging Manager to run the Imaging department on a day-to-day basis due to increased service demand and growth within the hospital.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan staff rotas and skill mix maximising the staff resource and equipment capacity across the departments
- Line manage and develop a discrete team within the department including performance matters
- To be actively involved in the recruitment of new members of staff
- Give judgement on a variety of complex clinical, staff & operational problems
- Undertake clinical duties and participate in the 7-day services/on-call when necessary
- Take the highly specialist lead role in the Imaging department consummate to expertise
- Act as a Specialist Diagnostic Imaging resource for the multi-disciplinary team and Radiographers within Spire Healthcare
- Undertake evidence-based projects, including recommendations for changes in practice

Who we're looking for:
- Degree (BSc Hons) - Radiography
- HCPC Registration
- Post-Graduate Diploma in specialist programme providing specialist skill and knowledge expertise
- Experience of clinical leadership e.g., developing peers
- Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied cases
- Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for new imaging services
