Radiology Nurse – Band 5
Part time 15 hours per week. Permanent post.
Are you ready to try a different aspect of nursing? An opportunity has arisen within Radiology at Royal Bolton Hospital for a motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse who would like to be part of an innovative, patient-focused, proactive team and develop new skills.
Whilst previous experience in supporting clinicians undertaking procedures is desirable, it is not essential. Your development is our priority and we will support you as you get to grips with our state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and wide range of procedures that are undertaken in radiology, such as Vascular Angiography/angioplasty and stenting, Embolisation, Hysterosalpingogram (HSG), Nephrostomy, Ultrasound and CT biopsy and drainages.

The Trust appreciates and values the contribution international nurses bring to the NHS. We also understand the support overseas nurses need to gain full registration once in the UK (via OSCE) and therefore we only recruit internationally to fill nursing vacancies when we can ensure support is in place. At this present time we aren’t in a position to offer that support and therefore will not accept applications from overseas nurses who only have Part 1 NMC registration. If that position changes in future we will clearly advertise our opportunities for international nurses to join our nurse team here in Bolton. Thank you for your understanding.

- Scrubbing for Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners performing interventional procedures.
