Band 2 Radiotherapy Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and organised Radiotherapy Administrative Assistant to join the Berkshire Cancer Centre administrative team. This is an important role supporting the delivery of high-quality radiotherapy services through the provision of comprehensive administrative support to patients, clinical staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

The post holder will be responsible for a range of administrative duties including appointment management, preparation of clinical records, data entry, patient pathway support, and responding to enquiries. The role also includes providing reception cover when required to support service needs.

  • Work closely with radiographers, clinicians, administrative colleagues, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure patients receive timely information, efficient appointment coordination, and a professional, patient-centred service.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team at the Berkshire Cancer Centre. You will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their radiotherapy journey while contributing to the efficient delivery of a busy and dynamic service. Previous administration experience is essential, and experience within the NHS or a healthcare setting would be advantageous.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
