Job Role
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Lead Dosimetrist in the provision of the radiotherapy treatment planning service under the scientific supervision of the Principal Physicist – Head of Treatment Planning and in conjunction with Pre-Treatment Therapy Radiographers.
The post holder will provide support in all areas of treatment planning.
RapidArc is utilized for all suitable clinical sites, as is routine daily online IGRT (including thorax 4DCT and DIBH breast). Our department has been paperless from the beginning. As well as providing top-class service to our patients, we are actively involved in research and development projects and national clinical trials. We are commissioned to deliver SABR for lung and oligometastatic disease.
