Job Title: Project RAID Lead
Location: Remote - UK
Contract Length: 6+ Months
Rate: £450 - £500
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project RAID Lead to join a major government transformation programme delivering business-critical change across HR, Finance, Commercial, and Shared Services functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead programme and project planning activities, developing, maintaining, and monitoring integrated plans and schedules
- Manage and coordinate RAID processes, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are identified, tracked, mitigated, and reported effectively
- Facilitate planning meetings with Project Managers and key stakeholders to ensure plans remain accurate and up to date
- Drive dependency management, milestone reviews, critical path analysis, and progress tracking across multiple workstreams
- Produce integrated reporting artefacts, milestone reports, dashboards, and governance materials for senior stakeholders
- Support programme governance forums through the provision of clear, data-driven insights and recommendations
- Work closely with risk owners and programme leadership to develop and monitor mitigation and recovery plans
- Champion best practice planning, reporting, and risk management methodologies across the programme environment

Requirements
- Proven experience supporting or leading planning and RAID activities within large-scale programmes and projects
- Strong experience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (MSP) for programme planning, scheduling, and reporting
- Experience managing complex dependencies, critical paths, milestones, and multiple concurrent workstreams
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery approaches and tools such as Jira and Kanban
- Strong risk, issue, and dependency management experience within programme or PMO environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to delivery
- Experience within ERP, Shared Services, HR, Finance, or large business transformation programmes would be highly advantageous
